Privacy & cookies
We keep this simple: this site doesn’t use tracking cookies, analytics or advertising pixels, and we don’t ask you for any personal information.
Cookies on this site
SweetTreatz does not set any cookies. Our fonts and images are served from our own server, so visiting a page here doesn’t send your data to third parties such as Google.
When you click through to Amazon
Product links take you to Amazon.co.uk. When you click one, Amazon sets its own cookies so it can tell that you came from this site. That’s how affiliate commission is attributed. From that point, Amazon’s own privacy notice and cookie policy apply. We don’t receive your name, address or any other personal details from Amazon, only anonymous reports of which products were bought.
See Amazon’s Privacy Notice and Cookies Notice.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our web host automatically records standard technical information when a page is requested: IP address, browser type, the page visited and the time. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and running, and to produce anonymous visitor totals. They are kept for a limited period and are not shared or sold.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you and to ask us to delete it. As we don’t collect personal data beyond the server logs above, there is usually nothing to provide, but you’re welcome to ask.
